Meet the Foster "Team"

(It’s Just Us)

Park Slope Fosters is a two-person foster team (plus the occasional guinea pig audience) based in Brooklyn, NY. We take in one dog at a time—usually the kind that gets overlooked in the shelter: big dogs, blocky heads, quirky personalities—and help them decompress, learn the ropes, and get ready for adoption.

It’s just the two of us—Hilary and Sean—fostering out of our apartment in Brooklyn. We focus on structure, enrichment, training, and of course, cuddles. We’re not a rescue or a nonprofit. Just two people with big hearts, a couch that’s seen too much, and a belief that every dog deserves a soft place to land.

You’ll find our fosters out and about in Brooklyn, starring in adoption reels, or curled up under a blanket like they own the place (because for now, they kind of do). We work hard to set them up for success—and we won’t stop until they find their forever family.

Storm.

Storm is a 5-year-old, 57lb, stout little meatball - I mean dog. Storm is house trained, dog-friendly, and kid-friendly. We always say Storm is a gentle soul. She loves a good nap, absolutely loves to cuddle, and really just wants to be around her people. Storm is great when meeting new friends - human or furry.

Storm came to us with some sores and calluses on her paws. Luckily, she is incredibly tolerant, always letting her humans do what they need to do, so putting on her ointments and lotions is no problem. Storm was not loving the stressful kennel environment and likely would not like to be in a crate in her forever home. Fortunately, she is a perfect angel when left home alone! She has never had an accident and isn’t destructive in the slightest.

Storm needs to work on her leash skills, she’s a little bit of a puller, but she is so ready to learn. If you want to have a cuddly, gentle, loving girl join your family, click below to apply to adopt Storm.
